V Play Music is best known as the guitarist for Bollywood artists like Badshah & Aastha Gill. He is also a producer, lyricist, Songwriter and member of award winning band Sankraman of Youth Nexus 2012. Born Virender Kumar on September 18, 1995, He grew up in Delhi, India and discovered a musical voice at the age of 18 while absorbing the sounds of the natural world. 

It was this intimate connection to nature that inspired him to become a trained Guitarist. His early influences included Slash, Andy James, Charlie Parra Del Riego, Michael Angelo Batio, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Jack Thammarat, Chris Buck etc.

Shining Ahead

At the age of 18 after graduating from high school, he attended the prestigious Delhi School of Music. V Play Music has always been fascinated with instruments. From a young age, he always wanted to perform. After years of committed study and practice, V Play Music became a professional Guitarist with a unique sound performing for packed audiences in India and beyond.

Once he picked up guitar for the first time, there was no turning back. By high school, the dream has been crystallized of becoming a professional musician. Years of rehearsals and music lessons later, In 2016 V Play Music started playing as freelance artist and performed with well known rapper of his country and award winning Bollywood artist Badshah and eventually got connected with artists like Aastha Gill, Anusha Mani, Sukriti Kakar, Nikhita Gandhi, Hargun Kaur and shared stage with Legendary artists like Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan, Gurdaas Man Ji etc. In 2018 V Play Music had a successful USA tour with Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan & Aastha Gill. He has done numbers of festivals and tours like Dubai Global Village Concert (2019), Ultimate Pop Show (Ahmadabad 2019), New Year Bash Dubai (2020) and Badshah & Hardy Sandhu India Tour to name a few. Talking about achievements, he contributed to Mohit Chauhan's soulful song "Bulla Ki Jana" for the Bollywood movie My Goal Football. V Play Music has done gigs with Bollywood artists all across the globe, more than 15 major developed countries like USA, Australia, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Dubai, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Doha etc.

Started from zero and now he has finally released his debut solo album called ‘Guitar on Vocals'  on 17 April 2021. The idea behind it was to present a new vision and experience to audience about instrumental music and the way they listen to vocal orientated songs. his mastery of the instrument will lead that vision to a whole new level of joy and positivity that music creates. One song of the album called 'Lost in You' got featured in Rolling Stone India as well.
